What to do if you think you have been hacked.
always make sure your Operating System and apps are up to date on all your devices. You can set this to be done automatically.
Check your email settings. Sometimes your settings are changed to redirect your email to another account or to automatically spam your contacts.
If you cannot access your online accounts like Facebook or Twitter, contact your services support desk to recover your account.
Change your passwords. Make sure they are complex and unique.
If available, enable 2FA (2 factor authentication) for all your accounts. This asks you to give an additional method of authenticating your login details.
Alert your contacts and friends that you have been compromised as they may receive spam or malware from your account and should check emails that claim to come from you.
Remember that if you need to, delete your old account and create a new one. also inform your contacts about this if you do.
Make sure you contact your Bank if you think there may be fraud involved.

You can use a variety of antivirus packages to scan and clean your system. There are quite a few out there and some are better than others. we typically use Bitdefender and Malwarebytes for just antivirus but newer EDR packages are becoming available now.
